We sell a quarterly compliance audit for dental offices at $3,000. I spent $2,400 on social ads and got 31 leads, but only 2 took a call and none bought. Are the leads just low quality, or is a high-ticket service the wrong thing to advertise this way?

I do bookkeeping cleanups for small firms and bill $75 an hour. Faster work means I earn less, which feels backwards. I want to quote fixed project prices but I am afraid of scope creep and underquoting. How did you estimate your first fixed-price jobs?

I started a newsletter-based consulting service for small clinics. After eight months I finally billed my first $1,000, through one referral. Others seem to launch and sell in weeks. Is a slow start a bad sign, or common with trust-heavy services?

I have been freelancing as a copywriter for four years, with more work than I can handle, and I am about to bring on two subcontractors. I am worried about quality control and margins. What would you do differently if you were starting that transition again?

We do websites and email campaigns for whoever calls us, mostly local businesses. Revenue is around $20k a month but every project is different and sales feel random. Did choosing a niche help you win clients faster, and how did you choose one?

One client pays about $5,000 a month, always on time, but is rude to my team and changes requirements constantly. They are 30% of my revenue. How do you decide whether to keep them, reprice them or let them go?

Most of my work is $500 to $2,000 per project for local clients, and I mostly agree by email. Twice now a customer disputed what was included. What is the minimum viable contract you use, and did you pay a lawyer to draft it?

I run a small design studio on monthly retainers of $4,000. Several clients treat the retainer as unlimited requests, and I spend more hours than I bill. How do you set boundaries without making clients feel nickel-and-dimed?

My consulting business nets about $120k a year as a single-member LLC. I keep hearing an S corporation election could lower my self-employment taxes, but accountants disagree about whether the savings justify the extra payroll and filings. How did you decide?
